Start shopping for the top end LG G6 with TigerMobiles.com. Full of power, a fantastic large screen, and an awesome camera set all mean that this is one brilliant hand set, and it's pretty good looking too! Think that this could be the new phone for you? Then check out some of our great deals on the LG G6 below!
LG isn’t always the first name that you think of when it comes to smartphones. Which is maybe why the manufacturer has tried so hard to be innovative, often to their detriment. Whilst the old LG G5 might have had that all new add-on design, the phone itself wasn’t particularly well specced. But with the LG G6, LG have gone back to basics, creating a phone that’s classic, looks fantastic, and has some very impressive internals.
Why should you be dying to get one? That larger than ever display is a pretty good reason to buy. So are the increased power and increased battery capacity. Then there are dual cameras and a fully water resistant casing. If you’re looking for a top end phone that beats out the competition when it comes to pricing, then the LG G6 is going to be a great buy.
The LG G6 is a sexy little device. There are smoothly rounded corners, slim, sleek edges, and a lightweight metal and glass build. But there’s also that larger screen, packed into a body so small that the display is almost bezel-less. And the camera bumps are gone, leaving a smooth back panel that fits comfortably into the hand. All in all, the G6 both looks and feels premium.
Under the hood, you’re getting plenty of power, and tonnes of RAM to keep things lightening fast. You’re also getting a dual rear camera, loads of storage options, and an upgraded user interface that makes good use of that larger screen. Plus, this is a waterproof model, which is good news for those of us that aren’t always as careful as we should be with our phones.
This is a flagship phone, and it’s got the specs to prove it. But LG also undercuts most of the top end competition when it comes to price, making this one of the most affordable flagship phones around. These specs at these prices are very, very hard to beat.
You don’t want a top end phone without high end performance, and fortunately, the LG G6 does deliver. You’re getting quad core processing power, running a dual core 2.35 GHz and a dual core 1.6 GHz processor simultaneously, as well as a full 4GB of RAM. Those combined make for a super responsive phone that runs very fast indeed.
Operating system wise you’re looking at an Android device. You’ll be running Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box, giving you the security and stability of a new OS version plus some nice new features thrown in. LG have also equipped the G6 with an updated user interface that’s easier and more intuitive to use, and that uses plenty of split-screen features to make use of that massive display.
There are phones out there with more power, with octo core processing, for example; however the G6 is still a very, very fast phone. The average user isn’t going to notice any difference between quad and octo core processors, so why pay for more? At the end of the day, the LG G6 gets fantastic performance that will please even the most demanding customer.
This screen is going to be (literally) one of the biggest selling points of the G6, since it measures in at a full 5.7 inches. However, since LG have changed the aspect ration from the more traditional 16:9 to 18:9, that display still fits into a relatively small mobile. You’ll have plenty of space for typing and video watching, but the G6 still feels comfortable in the hand and fits into a pocket.
You’re getting some high resolution here too, with 1440 x 2880 pixels, giving you around 564 PPI. This gives you a crisp, clear picture that’s a true pleasure to look at. The LCD screen gets great colour reproduction too, with super bright whites and deep blacks. And there’s IPS, so viewing is great from any angle.
This is, quite simply, a great screen. It’s beautiful to look at, whether you’re watching HD video or just playing games, and there’s plenty of space as well. If you’re looking for a big screen phone, then the LG G6 is going to be an excellent choice.
If that big screen weren’t enough, you’re also getting some great cameras here as well. At the front, there’s a 5 MP affair, with f/2.2 aperture, which should make for some pretty great selfies, and is perfect for video calling.
At the rear, you’re getting two cameras, one for wide angle photography and one for regular snapping. Both are 13 MP and f/1.8 and f/2.4 aperture respectively. You also get dual LED flash, phase detection autofocus, HDR, touch focus, face detection, and all the other features you’d expect to see on a top of the line camera set.
If you love taking pictures, then the LG G6 is going to be a dream phone for you. For long distance or close-ups, for bright light or night shots, the G6 simply takes fantastic pictures. Amateurs and pros alike will be more than satisfied.
There are a few other things that deserve mention on the LG G6. There is a fingerprint sensor, which gives you more security and means you have access to digital payment systems that require fingerprints. And it’s handily mounted at the rear of the phone so it’s easy to use, and it doubles as a power button too (which means less clutter at the front of the phone).
This is a waterproof device. Its IP 68 certification means that its dustproof as well as water resistant in up to a meter of water for up to thirty minutes. That’s pretty handy if you’re not always as careful as you should be with your mobile…
You’re getting a gigantic 3300 mAh battery as well, which should give you more than enough juice to last through the day. And when you do get low on power, there’s QuickCharge 3.0 technology to get you fired up that much faster. You should get a full 50% charge in less than thirty minutes.

The LG G6 is a brilliant phone. It’s classy, sophisticated, looks and feels the part. Plus, there’s plenty of power and speed, some great cameras, and one of the best displays around. If you’re in the market for a top end phone, then the LG G6 should be top of your list, particularly considering the price point here.
You get all the regular connectivity options: 3G, 4G, WiFi, and Bluetooth. Internally you’re looking at 32 GB of memory, which isn’t too bad. And if you run out of space, there’s an SD card slot for up to 256 GB of more storage, which should be plenty!
Right, anything we don’t like? Not really. The G6 does use an older SnapDragon chipset, but the manufacturer themselves said this is deliberate, since the newer chipset model has not been fully tested yet. There’s no removable battery, but with so many power pack options around these days, that’s not really a deal breaker any more. The bottom line is that this is a great phone, and one that’s a pleasure to use and even hold. If you want a fantastic flagship phone that isn’t going to cost the earth, then check out the awesome LG G6!
