About the iPhone 6s 64GB rose gold Pink

When Apple release the new iPhones, the world goes mad trying to get hold of one, but for once, with the iPhone 6S, there’s a very good reason. This is by far the best that we’ve seen from Apple, and it’s a real upgrade from the iPhone 6. It ticks all the boxes in pretty much every category, and it looks fantastic too. This is the king of phones from the king of phone makers, and one that’s going to be at the top of wish lists. What do you have to look forward to? The 6S is certainly faster than the 6, but it’s also got a cutting edge 3D touch screen which is very cool. Then there are those upgraded cameras, which are a great addition, and a whole lot more as well. If you’ve got a hankering for a top of the line mobile, then the iPhone 6S is the way to go!

Key Features on the iPhone 6S

Minimalist styling, rounded curves and sleek lines, the 6S has all the hallmarks of an Apple device. You’ll notice that it’s a tad thicker than usual, which is due to that new screen tech, but that simply serves to make the 6S more robust. With its full metal and glass unibody build the 6S is stylish and light weight, and has a real premium feel of quality about it. Aesthetics aside, there’s a lot to get excited about here with some nice internal upgrades. The new chip set makes this the fastest iPhone yet, and better cameras mean better pictures, and that 3D touch display is very innovative and a great addition. You’re going to be dropping a lot of money on a flagship phone, so why not make it the best? The iPhone 6S is an amazing device, and one that makes a great option for demanding users.

Performance and Power Specs

Apple rarely release CPU numbers, which doesn’t really matter since the tech is so different that comparing Apple to other manufacturers just doesn’t work. We can tell you that there’s a new A9 chip set on board which Apple are saying is up to 70% faster than that on the iPhone 6. There’s also 2 GB of RAM, rather than the 1 GB seen on the 6, which all combines to make the 6S the fastest, most responsive iPhone around. Obviously, this is an iOS device, and you’re running the new iOS9 version out of the box. You’ll recognise the familiar, intuitive operating system, but there are a couple of new things to note. One of these is low power mode, which lets you save some juice, and another is a “back to previous app” icon which is pretty handy if you’re constantly switching back and forth between apps. If you want awesome performance, then the iPhone 6S is going to give it to you. It’s noticeably faster than the iPhone 6, and runs more smoothly too. You’ll hear no complaints from us on this score.

The New Display…

Cutting edge screen tech? Yes please! The iPhone 6S has a 4.7 inch display, which isn’t the largest around but does mean that it’s very portable. It’s also got a 3D touch screen. In essence this means that the display detects the difference between you touching the screen and pressing the screen and responds differently. Think of it kind of like the two different buttons on your computer mouse and you get the idea. This adds another way to use that touch screen, and it’s actually pretty intuitive when you get used to it. Resolution numbers don’t tell the whole story here. The 6S has a 750 x 1334 pixel display, working out to around 326 PPI. But this is a Retina display, and one with IPS and LED backlighting. This means that in practice it’s one of the best displays around, with sharp, clear definition and excellent colour reproduction. If you want the best screen on the market, then this could well be it. The iPhone 6S has a beautiful display that’s a pleasure to look at, no matter what you’re doing on it.

And Upgraded Cameras

Unusually, we’re seeing upgraded cameras on the 6S, which is surprising from Apple. At the front there’s now a 5 MP camera for FaceTime and taking the odd selfie. It’s got screen flash too, which lets you light up the display to act as a flash. At the rear there’s now a 12 MP camera, as opposed to the 8 MP cams that have been standard on iPhones for nearly as long as we can remember. There’s some nice features here too, including dual LED flash, phase detection autofocus, 4K video recording, and a very impressive 4608 x 2592 resolution. In short you’re getting amazing pictures, and that’s really what counts. If you love taking photos, or even if you’re just a casual shooter, then the 6S is going to more than do the job.

Extra Stuff…

There are a few other things that we should mention here too. The 6S does have a fingerprint scanner, which means that you can use Apple Pay, the digital wallet and payment service offered by Apple. You’re getting a cool new camera mode too, called Live Photo. This starts the video camera recording 1.5 secs before a still picture is taken, and stop that video 1.5 seconds after. The result? A normal photograph, alongside a quick moving video of the moment too, which is pretty neat. Last, but not least, Siri has had some upgrades too, and she can now handle much more complex requests than she could before.

iPhone 6s 64GB rose gold Pink Review

From its stunning good looks to its amazing performance, the iPhone 6S is a true flagship phone. Add in some great cameras, and that cool new screen tech and Apple have created a sure fire winner here. This has to be one of the best mobiles on today’s shelves.

Connectivity wise you’re looking at the usual: WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G and 4G too, however that’s advanced LTE tech so WiFi and 4G speeds are faster than normal. This model has 64 GB of internal memory, but you can’t add any more since there’s no SD card slot. But 64 GB is a lot of space, and you can always use the iCloud, Apple’s online storage service.

Time for complaints. But… we don’t really have any. Yes, we’d like it to be a little cheaper, yes, we’d like an SD card slot, but these things aren’t going to happen, and you’re really getting what you pay for here. The Apple iPhone 6S is quite simply one of the best phones we’ve seen so far, and it’s tough not to fall in love with it. Want the best? Then check out the 6S.
